Whilst familiar with a number of different styles and interventions, Cath’s natural style is ‘insight-focused’ which means that attention is paid to increasing insight into how the coachee operates in order to help them find more effective ways of dealing with the challenges they face. Influenced by the theories of Transactional Analysis and Relational coaching, Cath works with a range of models, tools and techniques to support behavioural change and improve personal effectiveness.

Recent Projects:

  • Helping existing and newly promoted Partners meet the challenges of leadership in a fast growing Professional Services organisation
  • Supporting Directors and emerging leaders with personal development and behavioural coaching as part of a leadership development programme; this involved facilitating 360 degree feed-back and the use of psychometric tools to build self-awareness
  • Working with an Operations Director to help the transition to a new role and clarify future career direction
  • Working with a newly-appointed Head of HR, providing mentoring and coaching support to help the coachee face the challenges of a rapidly changing organisation
  • Providing re-deployees with coaching and career counselling following a restructure; this involved specific behavioural coaching around a framework of competencies
  • Supporting a CEO in transitioning to a new operating model and making changes to the management team including coaching through sensitive and difficult negotiations and decision-making
  • Helping a senior Development Manager become more effective in developing and managing high level stakeholder relationships
